The following stipulations, Specifications and description of work are defined and described as Technical Specifications, and it is understood and agreed that everything herein contained is hereby made a part of the Contract. Wherever any feature of the work is not fully set forth in these Technical Specifications, the "General Conditions for Construction 2016," Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Publication 408/latest version, or amended by Special Requirements, it must be understood that the same shall be governed by the rules of the best prevailing practice for that class of work, as determined by the Department's Representative. Also included by reference, are the PennDOT Specifications Publication 408/latest version, Department of Transportation, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; only to the extent that specific sections are referenced in the Technical Specifications and Drawings. These Technical Specifications and any Drawings, maps and/or plans forming a part thereof, will cover the furnishing of all labor, technical assistance, equipment, tools and materials necessary to perform the construction work, as required under this Contract. Abandoned Mine Reclamation Project at Rupp Run South, Manor Township, Armstrong County. The estimated amount is $100,000 to $200,000 (Small Business Only). Term is 90 calendar days. Bid bond is required. Principal items of work and approximate quantities include: Implementation of the Erosion and Sediment Pollution Control Plan - Rock Construction Entrance (1 each), Compost Filter Sock (12" Diameter) (50 L.f.), Weighted Sediment Filter Tube (20 L.f.), Clearing and Grubbing (0.1 acre), Planting Preparation (0.2 acre), Channel Reconstruction with R-6 Riprap and Rock Energy Dissipaters (200 L.f.), Channel Reconstruction with Smartditch (175 L.f.), and Traffic Control (1 L.s).
