Question Deadline 01/09/2026 All questions regarding the meaning or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall be directed in writing to the Capital Procurement Officer. Questions received less than ten (10) calendar days prior to the date for receipt of Bids may not be answered. This project with replace the existing electrical gear in 4 buildings on ECTC's campus: James S. Owen (JSO), Learning Resource Center (LRC), Science (SCI), and Academic Technical Building (ATB). The existing switchgear will be replaced with new 120/208V, 3-phase, switchboard. The switchboards will be fitted out with thermal magnetic circuit breakers to feed the existing loads. Breakers over 225 amps will have an adjustable trip. The main circuit breaker will have arc flash mitigation reduction. The switchboard will include integral surge suppression and energy meter with RS485 ports with Modbus-RTU, Modbus TCP, HTTP, BACnet-IP, and EtherNet/IP. The campus is primary metered and owns the medium voltage distribution. Included in this renovation will be replacing the existing kerney vacuum switch located in the manhole near the JSO building and replacing the 4-way junction in the manhole near the Science building with new sub-surface 4-switch. Also included in this renovation will be replacing the cut-outs on the west side of campus with a new pad mount switch. Installation will include start-up, testing and owner training. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee (in the form of a bid bond or certified check) of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the lump sum base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and a separate 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All technical questions shall Be emailed to the architect/engineer of record for this project.
