Renovation of a laboratory facility in Monroe, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
The work includes tenant improvement of two separate areas: a temporary laboratory validation room and the laboratory proper. The laboratory work is divided into three phases, and renovations consist of demolition of non-load bearing interior partitions to reconfigure the overall layout, as well as demolition of existing flooring. Additional work includes modifications to plumbing, mechanical, electrical, low voltage systems, drywall, painting, wall protection, and installation of new flooring. The estimated cost of construction is $525,000. Bids shall include all work, furnishing, and installing equipment according to the bid documents, plans, and specifications. This is a public works project and must comply with prevailing wage requirements. Each bid must be accompanied by bid proposal security of no less than five percent of the total amount bid. Bidder Qualifications forms must be submitted within 24 hours of the Bid Form submission. Sealed bids must be delivered on or before the specified bid date and time. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids.
