The project outlined within will increase dam safety by providing functioning gate valves within the control structure. This will ensure proper year-round discharge is maintained to the stream channel below, while simultaneously supporting the water distribution and treatment system within the park. Additionally, this will safeguard the operations of the emergency discharge system for the dam. Participation in this procurement solicitation must comply with MD State Fin & amp; Pro Code 13-212.1and COMAR 21.05.08.08 relating to Conflicts of Interest. 2.1.2 Consultants retained by the State to assist with the drafting of the solicitation or assisting in the selection for award are prohibited from submitting a proposal or assisting another in submitting a proposal for the subject solicitation or working for the selected awardee for a period of time.
