An addendum will be issued soon for new bid due date.** The Vienna Utility Board is seeking sealed bids for the 12th Street Lift Station Wet Well Platform Replacement project located within the City of Vienna. Bidders are required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, and national origin. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Vienna, Wood County, or a Bid Bond executed by the bidder and a surety company approved by the City of Vienna, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, is required. No bid bonds will be returned or waived due to the bidder's failure to comply with the requirements set forth in the plans, specifications, or applicable statutes and ordinances. Bidders must certify, acknowledge, and indicate they have the required license and meet the qualifications as required by the statutes of the state and subdivision where the work is performed. No bids will be accepted without a Contractor's WV License Number included on the bid submission. The City of Vienna reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality therein. The general scope of work shall include the furnishing of all labor, machinery, tools, appurtenances, equipment, transportation, utility services, other special structures, and all other means necessary to construct and complete the 12th Street Lift Station Wet Well Platform Replacement project. All work shall be completed in full compliance with the Drawings, the Proposal, the Contract, and these Specifications.
