The proposed work consists of the implementation of countermeasures from the Downtown Hudson Pedestrian Study. The project area includes sites along the Aurora Street, Main Street, and Streetsboro Street corridors. Countermeasures include high visibility crosswalks, new and upgraded curb ramps, curb extensions, sidewalk and countdown pedestrian signal heads in the City of Hudson, Ohio, in accordance with the specifications on file in the office of the City Engineer. Bids must be submitted through the Bid Express website. Bid security is required in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the City of Hudson. The City of Hudson reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive any nonconformities not involving price, time, or changes in the work. No pre-bid meeting will be held for this project. Question Deadline 01/06/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing through the Bid Express website. The person submitting the request shall be responsible for its prompt delivery. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda to all Bidding Documents Holders through the Bid Express website. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
