The work consists of the construction of a new playground within the existing Oak Grove Park. The scope includes miscellaneous demolition, tree removal and clearing & grubbing, construction of an asphalt parking lot, concrete walkways, fencing and gates, storm structures, piping, underdrains and bioretention cell, installation of a complete electrical system, complete low pressure distribution septic system, waterline, site earthwork and erosion control in the City of Hudson, Ohio, in accordance with specifications on file in the office of the City Engineer. Bidders must submit their bids through the Bid Express website. All bid forms, contract documents, and plans are available through Bid Express. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid, or a certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the City of Hudson. The City of Hudson reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any nonconformities not involving price, time, or changes in the work.
