Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hudson, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
**As of February 26, 2026, the project was awarded to Ronyak Paving, with an awarded amount of $494,515.40. ** The proposed work consists of milling 2" and 2.5" of pavement and resurfacing with 2" of asphalt of approximately 0.62 miles of E. Barlow Road including new pavement markings, signage and restoration work. The project also includes a bid alternate which includes pavement removal, varying depth of 2" and 2.5" of milling and 2" resurfacing of approximately 0.62 miles of E. Barlow Road including new pavement markings, signage and restoration in the City of Hudson, Ohio, in accordance with the specifications on file in the office of the City Engineer. Bids must be submitted through the Bid Express website. A fee will be incurred to bid electronically, either $50 per solicitation or $60 per month for a subscription. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the City of Hudson. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any nonconformities not involving price, time, or changes in the work.
