Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The project involves the improvement of Randolph Woods Nature Preserve Park Phase 1. Work includes, but is not limited to: construction of a 7-foot wide ADA Stone Loop Trail, installation of an asphalt trail, demolition and replacement of a pedestrian bridge, construction of a pedestrian boardwalk with a platform, installation of a pavilion with concrete pad and picnic tables, creation of a nature-based play area, installation of a bike rack, trash receptacles, benches, signage, landscape improvements, demolition of a parking lot, lawn restoration, and erosion & sediment controls. Bidders must submit a certified check or bid bond equal to 10% of the bid amount as bid security. The successful bidder will need to provide 100% performance and labor/materials payment bonds with an eighteen-month warranty within ten days of the bid award. The project is subject to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act requirements and state anti-kickback regulations. The owner reserves the right to refuse any or all bids and to waive any informality in bids received. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty days after the bid opening.
