The City of Prospect is seeking qualifications for professional design and engineering services for Phase 1 of the Prospect Putney Pond and Woodlands Park Boardwalk Project. The first phase involves a raised pedestrian boardwalk from Prospect City Hall extending west approximately 645 feet, 8 feet wide, constructed of durable, moisture-resistant materials, with larger sitting areas at each end. The boardwalk is to be built above the terrain, at a minimum elevation of 450.00, and must comply with ADA requirements. Sensitive site areas require consideration of construction methods such as Top-Down Construction, with limited or no vehicle access in certain zones. The scope includes: gathering topographic site information, preliminary design, construction plans/specifications, bidding documents, recommendations on construction bids, and construction review, including contractor payment application review. Additional services related to geotechnical or environmental matters may be requested. Qualifications should describe the proposed team, relevant experience, and other pertinent information for the project.
