The Project includes the following Work A new canoe/kayak launch is to be installed on the Mississippi River at Elsie Stephens Park in the City of Dayton, MN. The project includes but is not limited to the following work Canoe/Kayak Launch Park Shelter Concrete Multi-Use Path Asphalt Multi-Use Path Segmental Block Retaining Walls Riprap / Shoreline Stabilization Site and Turf Restoration A new canoe kayak launch is to be installed on the Mississippi River at Elsie Stephens Park in the City of Dayton, MN. The project includes but is not limited to the following work: Canoe Kayak Launch, Park Shelter, Concrete Multi-Use Path, Asphalt Multi-Use Path, Segmental Block Retaining Walls, Riprap Shoreline Stabilization, and Site and Turf Restoration. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the requirements set forth by the Funding Requirements - Section 00 80 00, with a minimum wage of $15.00/hr. The Contractor shall conform to the statutory requirements known as "Build America, Buy America" which applies to all of the iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in the project. Bid Proposals may be denied if the requirements of this section are not met and waivers are required. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
