Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Lakota, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; educational facility; and educational facility.

Outline of Project: 1. Construction of a new 4-stop elevator that will include demolition, renovation, and new construction in the interior of the existing 1932 high school building. 2. Construction of ADA compliant restrooms next to the new elevator shaft on two of the floors. 3. Renovation of a current set of restrooms to meet current ADA standards. 4. A lift from the gymnasium level to the stage level. Question Deadline 01/08/2026 Bidders and sub-bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the bidding documents shall make a written request which shall reach the architect at least seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of bids Type of Bids: Stipulated Sum for - General Construction, Mechanical Construction, and Electrical Construction or Combined General, Mechanical, Electrical Construction. Obtaining Documents: Drawings and Specifications may be obtained electronically from Hepper Olson Architect or viewed on various builders exchanges. Contractors are encouraged to register as a plan holder by providing contact information. Bid Security: Each bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing the contractor's license and bid security in a sum equal to five percent of the full amount of the bid and must be in the form of a bidder's bond. If a successful bidder does not execute a contract within ten days allowed, the bidder's bond must be forfeited to the governing body and the project awarded to the next lowest responsible bidder. North Dakota Law: Bidders must be licensed for the full amount of the bid as required by state law. No bid may be read or considered if the bid does not fully comply with the requirements of North Dakota Century Code Chapter 48-01.2. The governing body reserves the right to reject any and all bids and rebid the project until a satisfactory bid is received. Federal Regulations: This contract is federally assisted. The Contractor must comply with the Davis - Bacon Act, Anti-Kickback Act, and the Contract Work Hours Standards. Contracts will obligate the Contractor and Subcontractors not to discriminate in employment practices. Bidders must submit a compliance report in conformity with President's Executive Order No. 11246. All contractors and subcontractors must be enrolled and current in SAM.gov. Minority and women owned businesses are encouraged to apply. The Owner reserves the right to hold all bids for a period of thirty days after the date fixed for the opening of bids, and to reject any and all bids and waive any formalities or irregularities.
