Site work and paving for a road / highway in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Kalamazoo (COK or City) intends to hire a consultant for Design Engineering of the following project with three components: 1. W Michigan Ave (Lovell-W Main) - reconfiguration and construction of corridor and its intersections with Lovell, Oakland, South, and Academy (this is a continuation of the Stadium Drive corridor). 2. South St (Oakland-Pitcher) - conversion from one-way to two-way operation. 3. Lovell St (Eldred-Portage) - conversion from one-way to two-way operation. Question Deadline 01/07/2026 Response to Questions Posted Online (Addendum). 1/14/2026. Questions related to this addendum may be addressed to Tom Palumbo, P.E., Senior Civil Engineer, Public Works Division at palumbot@kalamazoocity.org. The Addendum can be viewed and downloaded from the City's website at online. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Requests for proposals for design services is underway. RFP date description: Deliver your proposal to the Treasurer's Office Payment Drop Box located in the northwest corner of City Hall (see photos below) before the proposal due date and time indicated in the RFP document.
