Site work and paving for a civil project in Maple Grove, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and road / highway.
The work includes furnishing all labor and materials for the construction, complete in place, of approximately: 650 LF remove and replace sanitary service pipe, 3,000 LF 4" - 8" PVC water main pipe, 1,700 LF 1.25" HDPE water service pipe, 42 each corporation stop, curb stop and box, 560 LF 12" - 18" RCP storm sewer pipe, 480 LF 12" CIPP lining, 20 each clearing and grubbing, 6,800 CY excavation - common and subgrade, 11,700 SY subgrade preparation, 240 LF 4" perforated PVC drain tile, 4,300 CY select granular borrow, 11,700 SY geotextile fabric type 5 nonwoven, 2,000 CY aggregate base class 5, 5,700 LF concrete curb and gutter, 3,100 SY bituminous mixture for streets (various types), 4,700 SY sodding type lawn, 2,200 SY seed and hydraulic matrix or rolled erosion prevention, 20 each deciduous tree, together with structures, hydrants, valves, fittings, erosion control, restoration, and related appurtenances. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response or submission shall comply with the requirements of Minn. Stat. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor. Bids must be submitted on bid forms provided in accordance with the contract documents, plans, and specifications as prepared by Bolton & Menk, Inc. Bids must be submitted online through QuestCDN. To access the electronic bid form, download the project documents and click the online bidding button at the top of the advertisement. Prospective bidders must be on the planholders list through QuestCDN for bids to be accepted. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond naming the City as obligee, certified check payable to the Clerk of the City, or a cash deposit equal to 5 percent of the amount of the bid, which shall be forfeited to the City in the event that the bidder fails to enter into a contract. The City Council reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three lowest bidders for a period not to exceed 30 days after the bid opening. No bids may be withdrawn for 30 days after bid opening. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities and informalities, and award the contract in the best interests of the City.
