Renovation of a stadium in Sturgis, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
Provide interior renovations to the existing Expo Center, to include replacement of exterior doors and frames for the Arena and Staging area, and to provide interior metal wall panels and ceiling panels for areas indicated on the drawings. Work to include reworking or mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler, and electrical items for placement of new metal panels. The Work includes, but is not limited to selective demolition, cold formed metal framing, metal fabrications, rough carpentry, formed metal wall and ceiling panels, sheet metal flashing and trim, joint sealants, standard steel doors and frames, glazing, painting, HVAC & plumbing systems, electrical (power & lighting) systems, and clean-up and removal of construction debris. Bid Guaranty in the form of a Bid Bond (Proposal bonds with Contractor acting as surety are not acceptable), Certified Check, or cash shall accompany each bid. The amount of the bid Guaranty shall be not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid set forth in the Proposal Form. All bid Guaranties shall be made payable to the Owner. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days therefrom. The Owner reserves the right to determine the ability of any bidder to perform the work, and upon the request of the Owner, any bidder shall furnish such information as may be required to make this determination. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a performance and payment bond and a material and payment bond in an amount equal to at least One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract price. The premium for the bonds shall be included in the proposal amount(s). The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejection or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner and to reject any bid where evidence of information submitted by the bidder does not satisfy the Owner that the Bidder is qualified to carry out the details of the Contract Documents. Doc notes: Charges to obtain electronic copies are non-refundable and are to be arranged with, and paid directly to, Maco-Evansville Blue. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The value range for this project is between $600,000 to $700,000. Project consists of interior renovations to the Arena and Staging area, to include replacement of exterior man doors, and providing metal wall and ceiling panels. Electronic copies of the documents are available from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, IN. (812-464-8108). Charges to obtain electronic copies are non-refundable and are to be arranged with, and paid directly to, Maco-Evansville Blue. Deposits will be refunded to contractors who submit a bona fide proposal to the Owner (directly or through a prime contractor) and return the documents, in an acceptable and reusable condition within ten days of the opening of the bids. Partial sets of documents are not available from the office of the Architect.
