The Project items and other associated work shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents and as directed by the PROJECT MANAGER. Question Deadline 01/12/2026 at 5:00 PM ET Online Portal January 16, 2026 Response to questions to be posted to Bonfire Project ID: EDO24-009 The work specified under this section includes the adjustments of existing inlets, valves, signal boxes, meter boxes, manholes, junction boxes, conflict boxes, underdrain inspection boxes, testing ports, cleanouts, shoulder gutter inlets, yard drains, lids, back-of-sidewalk drains, French drain outlets, and similar structures to be raised or lowered to the finished plan grade. The work under this Section must be incidental to the scope allowing for adjustment of existing structures shown as part of the Plans ensuring the covers, rims, grates, lids, or infrastructure is flush with final grade or adjacent elevations (i.e., pavement, sidewalk) and for the satisfactory completion of the work. New infrastructure within the project limits must be constructed in accordance with these specifications, COUNTY Public Infrastructure Branch specifications and details, and Florida Department of Transportation specifications and standard construction details. The work specified under this Section must include the furnishing and placement of all concrete, reinforcing steel and accessory items, gratings, frames, risers, lids, boxes, covers and any other necessary fittings, and providing plugs and openings in existing structures, as shown in the Plans or as directed by the County Engineer or COUNTY, all forms and false work, all excavation and backfilling around the structure, all labor and materials required to raise incidental infrastructure and restore the work site and affected property and facilities to a condition acceptable to the County Engineer, and the disposal of surplus materials not claimed by the COUNTY. Unless otherwise provided for in the contract documents, all materials disposed of by the CONTRACTOR must be disposed of in areas provided by the CONTRACTOR. All other work must adhere to Section 425 of the FDOT Standard Specifications.
