All work shall be performed and all materials furnished in accordance with the contract documents prepared by the consulting engineer. Each bidder must submit a bid accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee of their ability to enter into a contract and furnish required bonds and materials within seven (7) days after acceptance of the bid. The successful bidder must furnish a performance and statutory payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price with a corporate surety licensed in Oklahoma. A maintenance bond guaranteeing repair of all work and materials for two (2) years after acceptance of work is also required. Bids will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any and all bids. Bidders must comply with equal opportunity employment requirements and regulations.
