Site work for a water / sewer project in Ogallala, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This request for proposals is a solicitation to receive offers to provide services to upgrade components of the water SCADA system for the City of Ogallala, Nebraska. The water system includes 9 municipal wells, two PRV sites, ground reservoir / PRV, and two water towers. The work to be performed includes upgrading the obsolete, serial communication-based radio system to an Ethernet-based radio system, upgrading Emerson/Bristol Babcock controllers to Allen Bradley controllers, implementation of new front-end SCADA software that is compatible with the wastewater plant and migrating the water and wastewater systems so each can be viewed from either system, as well as enhancements to the front end of the SCADA system such as an SQL-based reporting package and software alarm dialer. Additionally, the work includes replacing the existing master control panel in the water office with a new master control panel of similar size (minimum 36"x36"x12") featuring a new Allen Bradley CompactLogix 1769-L33ER or greater and a new Allen Bradley Panelview Plus operator interface 10" or greater. Bidders are required to provide a quotation for the required work and documentation showing their qualifications.
