Pirtle Construction Company is soliciting subcontractors and suppliers to prequalify and bid on Broward County Public Schools Parkway Middle School Addition Demolition Phase 2A, Project No. P.002665, located at 3600 NW 5th Court, Lauderhill, FL 33311. The scope of work under Phase 2A includes the demolition and removal of Buildings 9, 12, 16, and 17, along with associated sidewalks, canopies, and adjacent landscaped areas. During demolition activities, all existing utility services serving the remaining occupied campus facilities shall remain active and fully operational. Compliance with the Jessica Lunsford Act is required during all phases of construction. Participation of subcontractors and vendors that are certified as E/S/V/M/WBE with Broward County Public Schools is encouraged. The MWBE goal for this project is 40%. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference/site visit will be scheduled at a later date. Sealed bids can be delivered to Pirtle Construction Company, 500 W. Cypress Creek Road, Suite 100, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309 on January 27, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Sealed bids will be opened with SBBC officials. Pre-qualification requirements: Subcontractors and suppliers must prequalify to bid. Participation of E/S/V/M/WBE certified entities with Broward County Public Schools is encouraged.
