The Project includes the following Work: The Hillside Drive Reconstruction Project consists of the repaving of approximately 2,900 square yards of 9-inch concrete pavement. Additional items include approximately 944 linear feet of water pipe installation, 870 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipe, drainage improvements, grading, culvert replacement and associated appurtenances. The successful Bidder must furnish performance, payment, and maintenance bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas, to act as Surety and be acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary of Treasury of the United States, or other Surety or Sureties acceptable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating the price in the bids, the Owner reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof or to reject the bid. Unreasonable or unbalanced unit prices will be considered sufficient cause of rejection of any bid or bids.
