The work primarily consists of resurfacing and reconstruction of residential streets, including 0.42 mile of HMA cold milling and resurfacing and 0.25 miles of full depth concrete pavement removal and asphalt reconstruction. The project also includes driveway removal and replacement, drainage structure, culverts, ditch cleanout, and lawn restoration. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided by the Owner and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total base bid price. The accepted bidder is required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, and a Maintenance and Guarantee Bond of 50% for two years of the Final Contract Price. The cost of the bonds will be paid by the accepted bidder. Each bidder must comply with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act, Act 517 of 2012, and agrees to waive any claim against the Owner, Architect/Engineer, and their employees regarding the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any bid. The City of Lathrup Village reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, and to waive any informalities, and to award the contract to other than the low bidder.
