Description

Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Bryan, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a one-room bridge / tunnel; and one-room bridge / tunnel.

Phase 1A: Installation of GFRP Single Slope Bridge Rail, per attached drawing (Attachment 2) with notes to contractor provided. Phase 1B: Installation of GFRP Post & Beam Bridge Rail, per attached drawing (Attachment 3) with notes to contractor provided. Phase 2A: Repair to GFRP Single Slope Bridge Rail, per attached drawings (Attachments 4 and 6) and contractor notes. Phase 2B: Repair to GFRP Post & Beam Bridge Rail, per attached drawings (Attachments 5 and 7) and contractor notes. Phase 3A: Demolition and removal of debris at Single Slope Bridge Rail Site, restoring the site to its original state. Phase 3B: Demolition and removal of debris at Post & Beam Bridge Rail Site, restoring the site to its original state. Bidders must provide a certificate of insurance, references, and attend a mandatory prebid meeting/site visit. All questions and bid/RFP responses must be submitted through the online portal. The agency will consider best value, including quality, availability, scope of bid conditions, ability and skill of bidder, prompt service, reputation, previous performance, financial stability, and ability to provide future maintenance and service. Local vendor is preferred. Detailed notes and prerequisites are provided in the attachments, including instructions to bidders and insurance requirements. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of amendments and review all prerequisites.
