Site work for a civil project in Bryan, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to construct a new sanitary sewer lift station, associated force main, utilities, access improvements, electrical infrastructure, erosion control measures, and a bid alternate gravity sewer line, all in accordance with the contract documents, plans, specifications, and applicable City of Bryan and BTU standards. Base Bid - Lift Station and Force Main Construction The work includes, but is not limited to, mobilization and construction staking; installation of approximately 4-inch PVC force main piping with both structural and non-structural backfill, including fittings and connections to existing manholes; construction of a new package lift station complete with foundation, yard piping, valve vault, and all associated appurtenances; installation of a crushed stone access road including earthwork and subgrade preparation; construction of driveway culverts including pipe, safety end treatments, and riprap; installation of chain-link fencing with gates and appurtenances; and installation of site amenities such as a flood light and frost-proof hose bib. The work also includes installation of a new water service line, water meter, and RPZ assembly serving the lift station. Electrical Improvements The project includes offsite and onsite electrical improvements necessary to serve the lift station. Work includes installation of offsite electrical conduit and complete installation of electrical lines from Oakmont Boulevard/University Drive East toward the lift station site, in accordance with BTU drawings and requirements, with all materials and labor furnished complete and in place. Erosion and Sedimentation Control The contractor shall implement and maintain all required erosion and sedimentation control measures throughout the duration of construction. This includes, but is not limited to, silt fencing, construction exits, straw bale barriers, inlet protection, grass seeding, and any other devices necessary to comply with the approved erosion control plan and applicable regulations.
