The project includes providing all necessary labor and materials for the construction, complete in place, of the following approximate quantities: 8,900 square yards remove bituminous pavement, 4,700 linear feet concrete curb and gutter, 4,450 cubic yards excavation - common (P), 1,900 cubic yards aggregate base class 5, 2,100 tons type SP 12.5 wearing course mix (3,c), 520 linear feet 15" RCP storm sewer, 700 cubic yards topsoil borrow, and 2 acres seeding. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission must comply with the provisions of Minn. Stat. 16c.285 Responsible Contractor. Bids will only be accepted via the electronic bidding service through BidVault TM. The Township Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bids received without explanation. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the instructions to bidders that are included in the bidding documents. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. The Work is generally described as follows: The furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the street construction, storm sewer, grading, and appurtenant work. A pre-bid conference will not be conducted for this Project.
