SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary to complete the Project that includes TO REMOVE AND REPLACE EXISTING SCUM SKIMMER(CLARIFIER), ROTOR ASSEMBLY AND ALL OCCURENCES THAT MAY APPEAR LOCATED AT OXIDATION DITCH 3 AND 4(CURRENTLY DOWN/OUT OF SERVICE AND NOT IN OPERATION. WILL NOT NEED TO SHUTOFF ANY COMPONENETS OF THE FACILITY TO REPLACE PARTS.) as shown on the Bid Documents, including the Plans and Specifications. Bids must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a bid bond in favor of the District in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted total bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the District with a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the successful bid, prior to execution of the contract. All bonds are to be secured from a surety that meets all of the State of California bonding requirements, as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, and is admitted by the State of California.
