**As of February 17, 2026, the project was awarded to Northwoods Excavating, Inc. but the awarded amount is not available.** The Town of Tunbridge is accepting proposals for the removal of an existing culvert and its replacement based on the listed specifications. Location: Junction of Frye Road and Kibbling Hill Road. The minimum scope of work includes: 1. Inspecting the area regarding culvert replacement and removal. 2. Developing a detailed cost estimate. 3. Removal of the existing culvert. 4. Replacement of the culvert with the following requirements: it must be buried two feet in the ground, stone must be placed inside the culvert, stone headwalls must be constructed at both the inlet and outlet, and stone work sizing must adhere to the noted specifications. Proposals may include options in addition to or exceeding this minimum scope of work. The chosen contractor will work under the direction of the Road Foreman. Payment will be made as a lump sum for satisfactorily completed work as determined by the Road Foreman. Proposals must be clearly marked and received by the specified deadline. Proposals will be opened and read at a Selectboard meeting, and the project will be awarded within 7 days.
