The Greenview Industrial Gateway (GIG) Temporary Road Signage project involves the construction and installation of two temporary signs arranged in a V-shaped configuration. The signs will be located adjacent to Highway 40 at the entrance to the Greenview Industrial Gateway, on the northeast side of the intersection of Highway 40 and the Greenview Industrial Gateway Road. Each sign shall measure 10 feet by 20 feet (10' × 20') and must be installed at a height of 20 feet (20') measured from the ground to the bottom edge of the sign. The contractor is responsible for ensuring the signs are securely erected, properly aligned in the specified “V” formation, and compliant with all applicable safety and roadway standards. Each sign will display the artwork shown in Image 1 and must be constructed using extruded aluminum sign panels. The finalized digital artwork file will be provided to the successful bidder. Municipal approval of the sign design is required prior to construction. All signs and installation activities must comply with the Highway Development and Protection Act, the Highways Development and Protection Regulation, and all requirements for installing signs within a highway control zone as outlined by Alberta Transportation. The project must also adhere to the conditions of the Transportation and Economic Corridors (TEC) Permit obtained by the Municipality and align with the approved site plan and drawings.
