Demolition, site work and addition to a water / sewer project in Grant, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for the addition of a water / sewer project; and for the demolition of a water / sewer project.
The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform the work called for under this contract in a timely, safe, and professional manner. Question Deadline 01/14/2026 at 4:00 PM CT All questions and requests for this bid packet should be emailed to the Contract Administrator Miranda Duke. Bids will be accepted only from qualified General Contractors licensed prior to the bid opening by the State of Alabama. A cashier's check or a bid bond payable to the City of Huntsville, Alabama, d/b/a/ Huntsville Utilities for an amount not less than 5% of the contractor's bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00, will be required to accompany each contractor's bid. A performance bond, a payment bond, a maintenance bond, and insurance will be required prior to execution of the contract. Period of performance is 90 days from Notice to Proceed. Liquidated Damages are a part of all construction projects. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of ninety (90) days. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved.
