The Pennsylvania Game Commission is soliciting electronic bids for the construction of a new Howard Nursery-Forestry Headquarters Building to be used for forestry work, general training, and public use areas. The project involves constructing an approximate 40' x 80' building with an attached vestibule, totaling 4,240 sq. ft. The building will be constructed with conventional wood stud framing and a trussed roof structure, which includes several cathedral ceiling areas. Installation includes composite siding, imitation stone veneer exterior finishes, metal roof panels, concrete floor, insulation, interior wall finishes with gypsum wallboard (GWB) and wood paneling, entry and interior doors, windows, and HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems along with other building appurtenances. Separate bids are required for General, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical construction contracts. Bidders are instructed to submit bids in dollars and cents, with no fractions of a cent accepted. Bidders should visit the site to assess access, site contours, proximity of utilities, structural characteristics, and general site conditions. Bidders shall be experienced and capable of performing the required work. After bids are opened, references for projects of similar size and scope may be requested to verify experience and qualifications. Bids must be submitted electronically using the designated SRM system. A bid guarantee or bond is not required. All vendors must have a Vendor Number to conduct business and receive payment.
