A. Furnish all labor, material and equipment for the concrete work indicated below and shown on the drawings. Work includes but is not limited to: 1. Construct cast-in-place concrete curbing and flatwork adjacent to and associated with field construction as shown in the plans. 2. Coordinate this work with adjacent Civil & Landscape /Site Concrete and Electrical/Civil/Field Utilities. 3. Coordinate sampling of concrete cylinders for compressive testing on permitted structural installations or as otherwise required or directed. B. Quality Control 1. Conform to the more stringent of specified vertical and horizontal finish tolerances for adjacent work. a. For all adjacent curbs and flatwork, conform to 32 18 24 Synthetic Turf Surfacing. b. Provide as-built survey demonstrating the accuracy of the formwork and finished concrete installation as meeting or exceeding that of the adjacent work, specifically line and grade for curbs containing synthetic turf surfacing and flatwork within or immediately adjacent to the field(s). A. Include all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and services to supply and install various items as shown on the drawings and as herein specified. B. Furnish and Equip Baseball Facilities as follows; 1. Furnish and install six (6) 4-sided pitchers' plates. 2. Furnish and install one (1) portable 10" rise pitching mound. 3. Furnish and install four (4home plates. 4. Furnish and install two (2) sets of base anchors and plugs, including for safety base. 5. Furnish and install 30 linear feet aluminum players' benches at each of four (4) dugouts. 6. Furnish and install three (3) 5-tier x21' portable bleacher units. 7. Furnish and install two (2) backboard pads, medium blue as approved. 8. Furnish four (4) on-deck mats, color as approved from manufacturers standard color range. 9. Furnish two (2) hitting mats, color as approved from manufacturers standard color range. 10. Furnish six (6) catcher's mats, color as approved from manufacturers standard color range. 11. Furnish, assemble, and install thirty (30) portable softball outfield fence panels. A. Furnish all labor, material and equipment for subgrade establishment for all competition and adjacent similarly surfaced areas including field events and synthetic turf. Work includes but is not limited to the following: 1. Layout and engineering; 2. Surface water and erosion control; 3. Management of the construction sequencing and scheduling relative to soil moisture content and the use of onsite material as fill; 4. Excavation, filling, back filling and compacting; 5. Supply and placement of recovery volumes or outhaul and disposal of material in excess of that required; 6. Subgrade scarification, drying, and re-compaction as required; 7. Compaction, compaction testing, and establishment of subgrade. A. Scope of work to include all labor, material, equipment, transportation and services to install complete new synthetic turf surfacing systems for Interscholastic Athletic, Physical Education, and Recreational uses. Systems to be as herein specified including, but not specifically limited to the following: 1. Independent testing of all synthetic turf materials prior to shipment to project site. 2. Delivery of the synthetic turf materials (not including infill) a minimum of 1 week prior to the scheduled installation of the materials, or as approved; 3. Review and acceptance or certification of field base permeable aggregate or interior concrete slab as it applies to installation of turf system including permeability, planarity, density, and warranty implementation. 4. Furnish and install 25mm paved-in-place elastic layer supplement pad system for all infilled Athletic Field surface applications. 5. Installation of infilled polyethylene/nylon synthetic turf systems for Baseball, Softball, and Soccer as follows; a. All synthetic turf product to be approved 2.25" system-height Monofilament/Slit Film blend. b. Batters' and Catchers' Boxes shall be removable by way of a hook-and-loop adhesion system including the box markings. Provide 6 replacements for each panel. 6. Installation of all inlaid or tufted (as applicable) field lines and markings as indicated on the drawings to match the specified field materials. 7. Infill Materials shall be Sand/Granular Cork as specified. 8. Supply of extra turf materials to the Owner for future repair and protective purposes. 9. Supply, assembly, and commissioning of synthetic turf maintenance equipment. 10. Provide all appropriate maintenance manuals, repair manuals, and warranty package to Owner. Warranty shall include a pre-paid insurance policy in support of the warranty required for the field, for the entire warranty period from an A-rated domestic insurance carrier. A. Furnish and install complete subsurface drainage systems for synthetic turf fields and perimeter areas as indicated on the drawings. B. Coordinate this work with that of Sections 31 00 00 Earthwork and 31 22 16 Field Subgrade Establishment. C. The work includes systems incorporating traditional Trenched Perforated Drainage Tubing. D. Trench to line and grade as shown on the drawings utilizing laser controlled equipment. E. Dispose of excavated trench material. F. Collector Tubing: 1. For non-perforated collector under 12" in diameter, install corrugated polyethylene (CPEP) collector tubing. Backfill with select site soil, 8" maximum lifts, compacted to 95%. 2. For perforated collector, install corrugated polyethylene (CPEP) collector tubing. Bed and Backfill with pea gravel. G. Remove all loose material from collector and lateral trench bottom. H. For round pipe perforated lateral drainage piping, place a minimum 2" depth of specified washed pea gravel bedding for perforated lateral piping. I. Install perforated corrugated tubing lateral system plumbed to collector piping. J. Bed and backfill round perforated tubing trenches with specified washed pea gravel. K. Upon completion of this work, restore subgrade to specified condition and tolerances, compacted to 95% density with no loose material on surface. J. Furnish and install trench drain and trench drain catch basin / junction box.
