This project will consist of replacing the east facing windows on the 2nd floor of the Matt Bell Building and the Ordon's Orvis Building in Downtown Pensacola. Escambia County is seeking competitive bids from a qualified contractor to replace the existing east-facing window glazing on the 2nd floor of the following County buildings: _ Escambia County Tax Collector's Office - Matt Bell (Stone Clad) 213 Palafox Place, Pensacola FL _ Escambia County Supervisor of Elections - Ordons/Orvis (Brick Veneer) 213 Palafox Place, Pensacola FL This project will replace the existing glazing with new energy-efficient glazing that provide similar architectural aesthetics to maintain the building's existing appearance. The Contractor is encouraged to replace only the existing glass within the frames of these two buildings wherever the existing frames can adequately support the proposed replacement glass. The existing frames shall be preserved to the greatest extent practicable. If the Contractor determines that the existing frames cannot adequately support the new/replacement glass or cannot accommodate the required installation, the Contractor shall submit a written request for substitution to the County for review and approval prior to replacing any existing frames. The request shall identify the existing frame limitations and proposed replacement frames. No frame replacement shall be performed without prior written approval from the County.
