Escambia County Facilities Management is seeking quotes for the preparation and installation of epoxy flooring in four bathrooms and two showers at the Equestrian Center, totaling 2,100 square feet, with a 4-inch epoxy base all around. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment required for surface preparation (including cleaning, degreasing, mechanical grinding or shot-blasting, and repairing cracks/holes), as well as applying a high-performance, non-slip, chemical-resistant epoxy flooring system per manufacturer specifications. The scope includes the use of a floor leveling compound as needed, primer and 100% solids epoxy paint coats, a non-slip additive or topcoat for durability and UV resistance, and curing/protection. The specified material is a grey epoxy system with color flake and a non-slip additive. All work must adhere to OSHA regulations, ensure proper ventilation, and protect the area during curing. A two-year warranty on workmanship and materials is required.
