Sealed bids are requested for street maintenance materials. Materials will be purchased by the City on an "as needed" basis, with no guarantee of quantity. The unit price bid must remain in effect through the stated period. Alternate source contracts may be awarded and used by the City based on availability, delivery time, or travel distance. All materials will be randomly tested by a certified lab to ensure compliance with specifications. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, addressed and marked as instructed. No oral, facsimile, or telephonic bids or changes will be accepted. Bids must be completed in ink or typewritten and cannot be changed after submission. On alternate items with no bid, a written "no bid" indication is required. Bids may be modified or withdrawn by written request before the bid opening. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities or irregularities. No bidder may withdraw their bid for thirty days after opening. The filing of a bid constitutes agreement to these conditions.
