Site work for a civil project in Braselton, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

**As of February 18, 2026 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The purpose of the project is to expand the groundwater system and prepare for a future interconnection with Barrow County. The project includes two new wells, a packaged treatment system, a 1-million-gallon ground level storage tank, high service pump station, 4,900 linear feet of 16” water main, and all system piping and appurtenances. Time of completion for all work associated with this project shall be three hundred (300) consecutive calendar days from the date of a written "Notice to Proceed" from OWNER. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the OWNER and plainly marked on the outside as, "2026 Ground Water Expansion and Storage for the Town of Braselton, Georgia." If the bid is forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed in a separate mailing envelope addressed to the OWNER at the designated address. Bids must be made out on the bid form bound in the Contract Documents, in accordance with the instructions in the Information for Bidders. No interlineation, additions, or deletions shall be made in the proposal form by the bidder. A bid bond or certified cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid must be enclosed with the bid at the time of bid opening. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the OWNER with Insurance, Workman's Compensation Insurance, and Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the total bid. Surety and insurance companies must have a specified AM Best rating, be listed in the Federal Registry, and be licensed by the Georgia Insurance Department and Secretary of State. The successful bidder will be required to perform work as the Prime Contractor, with a minimum of 30% of the contract value performed by the Prime Contractor. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with all Federal, State, and local laws. Bidders must comply with specific requirements related to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and the Byrd Anti-Lobbying Amendment. All State and Federal permits, as well as easements and rights of way, have been acquired by the OWNER. The OWNER reserves the right to waive informalities or to reject any or all Bids, and to accept any Bid deemed in the best interest of the OWNER.
