Remodeling of an educational facility in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility; and educational facility.
Lease Leaseback Project seeking sub bids only for Florin High School Phase 2, consisting of two components: 1) Classroom Upgrades (Non-DSA), which include carpet/base and resilient flooring/base replacement, wall damage and vinyl wall covering repair, wall, door, frame and ceiling painting, ceiling tile replacement, and minor casework repairs and tune-up; and 2) Administration & Student Services Office Upgrades (DSA), which include lockers replacement at Building A, conversion of work rooms to reception area and windows to access doors at Buildings C & D, modifications to power, lighting, and fire alarm, finish upgrades, modifications to front entry ornamental iron gates and fencing at Buildings C & D, creation of a separate public lobby and physical barrier to the administration office, and conversion of the existing exterior transaction window to an access door onto the inner campus at Building D. All bidders must review insurance requirements and include any additional costs in their proposals. Bids must include DIR registration number and confirmation of ability to meet AB-566 / SB-693 skilled and trained workforce requirements. Subcontracts will be awarded by the Best Value Subcontractor Selection process. All work under the Carpenters Master Agreement for Northern California must be performed by Union Carpenters. This is a prevailing wage project. All subcontractors must be bondable. Premiums will be paid by C.T. Brayton & Sons, Inc. Equal opportunity employer. Pre-qualification requirements: MEP prequalification in compliance with Public Contract Code section 20111.6 is required for this Project. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractors with license classifications C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and C-46 must be prequalified by the District prior to submitting a proposal. All subcontractors and sub-tier subcontractors must be DIR registered contractors at all times during performance of the work. All subcontractors of any tier must comply with AB-566 / SB-693 skilled and trained workforce requirements as defined in Public Contract Code 2601(d). All subcontractors must be bondable. Bidders will be scored by the Best Value Subcontractor Selection process, including evaluation of price, similar projects, insurance and safety, bonding capacity, local business participation, manpower/capacity, and skilled workforce compliance. Seeking DVBE subcontractor/supplier participation. All work performed must comply with prevailing wage requirements and the Carpenters Master Agreement for Northern California. All bidders must be able to meet the insurance requirements as specified by the project documents. Premiums will be paid by C.T. Brayton & Sons, Inc. Equal opportunity employer. Certificate of Liability Insurance and required endorsements must be provided for at least two years post-completion, or upon written request of C.T. Brayton & Sons, Inc., including all specified additional insured requirements. Subcontractors may only solicit sub-bids from and contract lower-tier subcontractors who are DIR registered contractors. Detailed requirements for skilled and trained workforce are provided in Public Contract Code 2600-2603 and Education Code section 17407.5. All responsive bidders will be scored and the highest scored will be awarded the subcontract as Best Value Subcontractor. This is a Lease Leaseback Project seeking sub-bids only. This project has a 2-year warranty period. Bid proposals are to be emailed or faxed to the designated contacts as specified in the instructions. Warranty and insurance requirements as stated in the project documents must be followed strictly. All insurance carriers must provide appropriate waivers of subrogation, and all policies must comply with the requirements in the project attachments. Subcontractors must be able to meet all bonding and insurance requirements detailed in the project documents. Bidders should ensure timely completion of any required prequalification processes. All requirements regarding prevailing wage, union labor, skilled and trained workforce, insurance, bonding, and DIR registration must be met to be considered for award. The project encourages participation from DVBE subcontractors and suppliers. Pre-bid job walk is scheduled as instructed. All cost proposals must include allowances for meeting the insurance requirements as detailed in the project documents. Subcontractors must provide all necessary insurance certificates, endorsements, and waivers as specified, and adhere to all requirements regarding best value selection, safety, and skilled workforce. All requirements must be carefully reviewed and met before submitting a bid proposal. The scoring of bidders will include price, similar project experience, ability to meet insurance requirements, safety programs, bonding capacity, local business participation, manpower and capacity to perform, and compliance with skilled and trained workforce requirements. Only complete and qualified bids will be considered for selection for subcontract award. Plans and specifications are available for review via the provided website link. All additional specific requirements are as set forth in the project instructions and relevant legal codes as referenced in the bid materials. Subcontractors must meet all stated project requirements to be eligible for award.
