Site work and paving for a road / highway in Frankfort, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
For the following: 2026 Community Crossings Road Paving Project The BOW reserves the right to answer any questions pertaining to the bids, provide clarification, or offer additional information as needed. Two (2) inch mill of existing surface and two (2) inch application HMA 9.5 mm surface: Project 1 to Project 16. Walsh Avenue - W. Kyger Street to W. Barner Street. W. McClurg Street- Hawthorne Avenue to Myrtle Avenue W. Green Street. - Rossville Avenue to Magnolia Avenue W. Palmer Street-N John Street to Dead End W. McKinsey Street -N. Main Street to Delphi Avenue E. Morrison Street- N. Jackson Street to Sims Street Sycamore Street- E. Washington Street to E. Clinton Street E. McClurg Street - Kelley Avenue to Dead End N. Crescent Street- N. Crescent Court to N. Maish Road S. Young Street- E. Boone Street to E. South Street E. Boone Street - S. Harrison Street to S. Clay Street S. Harrison Street- E. South Street to Harvard Terrace Main Avenue - S. Jackson Street to W. Armstrong Street Meridian Street- S. Jackson Street to Oak Street Oak Street - Meridian Street to Dead End Fifth Street- W. Walnut Street to W. Armstrong Street 1 Machine mill two inches (2") of existing asphalt pavement, including terminal and transition joints, as required to achieve a uniform surface. 2. Furnish and apply AE-T tack coat in accordance with applicable INDOT Standard Specifications. 3. Furnish and place two inches (2") ofHMA 9.5mm surface mixture, including any required wedging to achieve proper crown and cross-slope. 4. Removal ofrailroad ties and base restoration for Project 16, in coordination with the City ofFrankfort. The contractorshall remove railroad ties from the roadway and stockpile them as directed. The City of Frankfort shall be responsible for hauling off and disposal oftheremoved railroad ties. The contractor shall replace disturbed base with compacted aggregate as specified prior to resurfacing. 5. Where base material is disturbed or removed, the contractor shall replace base with No. 53 aggregate, compacted in accordance with INDOT Standard Specifications. Lime-treated aggregate may be required where directed by the City of Frankfort Street Department to improve base stability.
