Furnish and apply AE-T tack coat in accordance with applicable INDOT Standard Specifications. 3. Furnish and place two inches (2") ofHMA 9.5mm surface mixture, including any required wedging to achieve proper crown and cross-slope. 4. Removal ofrailroad ties and base restoration for Project 16, in coordination with the City ofFrankfort. The contractorshall remove railroad ties from the roadway and stockpile them as directed. The City of Frankfort shall be responsible for hauling off and disposal oftheremoved railroad ties. The contractor shall replace disturbed base with compacted aggregate as specified prior to resurfacing. 5. Where base material is disturbed or removed, the contractor shall replace base with No. 53 aggregate, compacted in accordance with INDOT Standard Specifications. Lime-treated aggregate may be required where directed by the City of Frankfort Street Department to improve base stability.
