Church St, Dr. M L King Jr Dr, and Washington St. for a bike path connecting the Tanglefoot Trail to downtown Houston. The contractor is responsible for performing all work and providing all labor, equipment, and materials as required by the specifications and drawings. Bidders are directed to the contract provisions regarding labor selection and employment, with predetermined minimum wage rates for federal-aid projects and compliance with the Work Hours Act of 1962. Disadvantaged and women's business enterprises are fully encouraged to participate and will not face discrimination. Contract documents may be examined or purchased at specified locations. Bidders must register online to view/order documents or submit electronic bids. Bids will be accepted only from those whose names appear on the official list of plan holders. Each bid must include a cashier's check, certified check, or a bidder's bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price.
