Indian Trail Improvement District is soliciting bids for the construction of the Coconut Park Pier. The work includes all activities necessary for the complete installation of the pier structure and its transition to the adjacent sidewalk. The scope of work covers providing the foundation system, structural framing, decking, and railing, including all necessary hardware and specialty engineering as required by the construction documents. The contractor must also perform comprehensive layout and as-built surveying, site stabilization, and ensure all work complies with current building codes and local requirements, including all necessary inspections. Sealed bids that are received on time will be publicly opened. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor irregularities, or readvertise the bid. Any person or affiliate on the convicted vendor list may not submit a bid, be awarded, or perform work under a contract with any public entity within the specified time frame as per Florida statute. Vendors are advised that the District will not request or consider a vendor's social, political, or ideological interests when determining responsibility or awarding preference. Applicants and those acting on their behalf must not lobby District personnel, Board members, or professional consultants regarding this bid, as such activity will result in disqualification.
