Site work for a water / sewer project in Weatherford, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the construction of Franklin Pressure Plane & Fort Worth Highway Water Improvements. The work generally includes the installation of approximately 8,270 linear feet of 12-inch PVC water line by open cut, 130 linear feet of 12-inch PVC water line inside 18-inch steel casing, 6,130 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water line by open cut, 100 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water line inside 16-inch steel casing, 50 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water line inside 16-inch steel casing by other than open cut, and 250 linear feet of 8-inch fusible PVC by horizontal directional drilling. Additional items include 670 linear feet of 6-inch PVC water line by open cut, 60 linear feet of 6-inch PVC water line inside 12-inch steel casing, 30 linear feet of 4-inch PVC water line by open cut, and 10 linear feet of 2-inch PVC water line by open cut. Bidders must submit sealed bids clearly marked with the project name. A bid bond for 5% of the bid amount, issued by an acceptable surety, must be included with each bid. It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure a complete set of documents is obtained as defined in the instructions to bidders.
