https://d2kbkoa27fdvtw.cloudfront.net/weatherford/e156ed04f7695f6a49219d2331d7ee320.pdf Consider authorizing the City Manager to execute a construction contract with JR West Texas Concrete, LLC for the Tin Top Road Drainage Improvements project in the amount not to exceed $489,537. ----------------------------------- The project generally consists of the installation of a new storm drain system to address significant ongoing soil erosion occurring within an aging and deteriorating open drainage ditch. The existing ditch, which currently lacks structural integrity, poses a long-term risk to the adjacent roadway due to progressive erosion. The proposed improvements include replacing the failing ditch with an underground storm drain pipe, topped with a minimal surface channel for limited overland flow. This project will also include a grouted rock lined channel. Question Deadline 02/06/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, issued by an acceptable surety, shall be submitted with each bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids received.
