Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Temple, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
As of January 23, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Project is funded through a Texas Health and Human Services Commission grant. Firms must demonstrate experience with CMAR delivery in Texas, supportive housing or multifamily construction, and public or grant-funded projects. The Project consists of the construction of a new permanent supportive housing development designed to serve individuals with mental illness requiring housing and supportive services. The Project will include residential dwelling units, common areas, administrative/support spaces, site work, utilities, and related improvements. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all submissions and to conduct interviews at its discretion. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Project consists of the construction of a new permanent supportive housing development designed to serve individuals with mental illness requiring housing and supportive services. The Project will include residential dwelling units, common areas, administrative/support spaces, site work, utilities, and related improvements. The Project is funded in part by an HHSC grant and must comply with all applicable state, federal, and HHSC requirements, including reporting, auditing, and reimbursement documentation. Funding is also through local match. The selected CMAR shall provide, at a minimum, the following preconstruction services to the extent not already performed by the architect for the project: 3.1.1 Project Review and Coordination Review all applicable funding source requirements, including grant conditions, and design documents and project specifications Identify potential risks related to cost, schedule, constructability, and compliance Coordinate with Owner and design team throughout design development (includes SD, DD, and CD)Budget Management Monitor alignment with HHSC funding limits and project budget, including GMP Provide cost reconciliation and budget updates Identify cost-saving and value engineering opportunities Question Deadline 01/14/2026 at 5:00 PM CT Questions regarding this RFQ should be submitted to Johnnie.Wardell@ccs1967.org
