The work consists of general contractor services for the renovation of existing spaces on Level One of the Main Hospital at 1500 S. Main Street in Fort Worth, Texas. The renovated space will include six mammography units (including one Stereotactic unit), one ABUS unit, one imaging reading room, three changing rooms, one sub-waiting area, one office, and one clean supply room. Some upgrades to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing are anticipated. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment required for the construction of these improvements. Respondents must demonstrate experience in successfully completing construction services for small imaging clinics and similar renovations in a large hospital environment, work effectively within an operational hospital, and be familiar with applicable codes and standards for healthcare facilities. A bid breakdown form must be completed and included in the response, and only one contract will be awarded for this location. Additional engineering details will be provided in a future addendum. The project requires an accelerated schedule and substantial completion by the specified date. The proposal must include a detailed approach to project management, analysis, reporting, management of the critical path schedule, and allocation of qualified resources. The bid package includes specific forms and documents that must be completed and returned with the proposal, and respondents are responsible for complying with all requirements and referenced documents.
