The St. Johns County School District is seeking to obtain Professional Architectural Continuing Contract Services for various school-related projects in the areas of Architectural Design Services and Roofing Analysis and Design Services. The services may include remodeling, renovations, additions, expansions, new construction, technology or energy updates and retrofits, Department of Education approved grants, energy rebate processing, and roofing analysis and design (including re-roofing). The contract is potentially multi-year, lasting up to five years and renewable annually; multiple firms may be selected. Each project assigned will have an estimated total cost not to exceed the amount defined by Florida Statutes. All plans, drawings, and specifications created for the projects will become the property of the School District. Minimum qualifications require firms to have ten years of professional expertise in architectural and/or roofing design and knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal laws, including State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF) and public lands. Responses to the request must include a manually signed original, a photocopy, and a thumb drive of the complete response in pdf format, all sealed in a clearly marked envelope. The School Board reserves the right to reject any or all responses, waive informalities and minor irregularities, and request resubmission or additional information in the School District's best interest.
