Site work for a civil project in Winnetka, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work consists of installing 1,526 linear feet of replacement 6-inch force main via horizontal directional drilling from the existing sanitary pumping station at 1075 Sheridan Road, west through the ravine to Fisher Lane, up the ravine leading to Fisher Lane, and following Fisher Lane to the existing discharge manhole at Old Green Bay Road. The existing force main will be abandoned in place. The sanitary pumping station modifications consist of new floor hatch doors, valves and piping. Operations will require phasing to keep the sanitary pumping station operational during the work. The Work shall be performed at the following Work Site: 1075 Sheridan Road, and Fisher Lane at Old Green Bay Road to 1075 Sheridan Road in Winnetka, Illinois. Owner reserves the right to make clarifications, corrections, or changes in this Request for Contract Proposals at any time prior to the time proposals are opened. All bidders or prospective bidders will be informed of said clarifications, corrections, or changes. Each Bidder's Proposal shall be accompanied by a security deposit of at least 10 percent of the Bidder's Price Proposal in the form of (1) a Cashier's Check or Certified Check drawn on a solvent bank insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and payable without condition to Owner or (2) a Bid Bond in a form satisfactory to Owner from a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Illinois with a general rating of A minus and a financial size category of Class X or better in Best's Insurance Guide.
