This work generally consists of excavation of a sinkhole, removal and replacement of an existing drainage manhole, removal and replacement of associated storm sewer piping, backfill with Controlled LowStrength Material (CLSM), asphalt pavement restoration, sidewalk restoration, and traffic control as needed. All requests for clarifications must be submitted no later than Monday, December 26, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and generally consists of the following: 1. Repair of Locust Ave Storm Sewer as described in the plans and specs. 2. Repair of Locust Ave sidewalks as ordered by the Engineer. 3. Maintenance and protection of traffic. 4. All other related work described herein A bid bond, certified check, or bank check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany the bid. Bids may not be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after the closing date/time for receipt of all bids. The successful bidder will be required to timely provide performance and labor and material bonds in an amount equal to the bid award and to proceed to contract upon notice of the bid award.
