Demolition and site work for a transportation facility in Butler, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a transportation facility.
The work consists of property demolition and clearing. Bids must be on prescribed forms and comply with the General Provisions, Proposal Requirements, and Conditions Section 20. Bidders must provide a bid guarantee of at least ten percent of their bid, which can be a bid bond, certified check, or other negotiable instrument. Work is to commence within ten days of notification to proceed and be fully completed within 60 calendar days of such notification. Bidders may not withdraw bids within 120 days after opening. The DBE Goal is set at 0%, but bidders are encouraged to seek DBE participation, and any DBE firms used must be certified by the PA UCP. A list of all firms providing quotes must be submitted, including firm name, address, DBE status, age, annual receipts, type of work, and dollar amount quoted. The successful bidder must provide a contract bond and required insurance within fifteen days of notification of acceptance. Work is subject to wage determinations by the U.S. Secretary of Labor and to regulations in Section R of the Contract Documents. All bidders must comply with the Antibid Rigging Act and submit an affidavit as specified.
