Site work and paving for a communication facility in Butler, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility.
This project involves the replacement of the traffic signal at the intersection of Route 8 (William Flynn Highway) and Mahood / Unionville Road in Center Township. The replacement includes the purchase and installation of new traffic signal equipment including traffic signal mast arms, emergency vehicle preemption, radar detection, signal wiring, conduit, signage, junction boxes, and a new controller assembly with battery backup power supply. Work also includes the removal of an advanced mast arm with flashers. All associated traffic control and restoration is also included, complete in place. Proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the project name. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages apply. Proposals must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond for ten percent (10%) of the total proposal amount as a guarantee. Proposals shall remain firm for sixty (60) days. Performance, Maintenance, and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance, as well as Certificates of Workman's Compensation, must be filed with the executed agreement upon acceptance. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or any part thereof, and to waive any informality.
