The District anticipates a purchase order will be issued no later than February 13, 2026. The Lancaster County School District is seeking competitive sealed bids from qualified sources to provide labor and material for the replacement of the existing paint booth at the Lancaster County Career Center in accordance with the requirements, specifications, and drawings of this solicitation. The Lancaster County School District shall assume no liability or responsibility for work until after delivery is complete in all respects and accepted by the district. The contractor shall be completely responsible for all terms and conditions in this contract until the above conditions are met. . A. Provide a complete Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning system as specified here-in and as indicated on the accompanying Mechanical Drawings. The contractor shall review drawings and specifications carefully to determine the complete scope of the project and not depend solely on the description herein. A more detailed, but not exhaustive or all-inclusive list of scope requirements are shown below. The following list is meant to serve as a general description of the scope of the project. B. Replace the existing paint booth in the body shop building with a new model as specified. C. Provide exhaust fans as specified and indicated on drawings. D. Provide ductwork as herein specified and indicated on the drawings for connection to new equipment. E. Provide new natural gas piping from the existing gas meter / service to the new heated make-up air unit. Confirm delivered gas pressure with the utility prior to piping work. Coordinate the tie-in during construction. F. Insulate all ductwork, piping, and equipment as herein specified and as indicated on mechanical drawings. G. Provide standalone controls for the paint booth and interface to the existing fire alarm system. H. Provide roof repairs/flashing for curbs and piping supports via the District preferred roofing contractor. Confirm roof bond contractor with the District. I. Provide all control, interlock and starting circuit wiring. Wiring shall be 120 volts or less. Provide transformers and relays as required to comply with this requirement. Conduit shall be steel conforming to the requirements of the Electrical Specifications, except as otherwise specified. Start, test, adjust, balance and place into operation all systems. The building water and air distribution systems are to be balanced to provide the quantity of air and water as shown on drawings. J. Seal any opening in the walls surrounding the paint mix room for a 1-hour fire rated classification. Provide fire dampers in duct/air distribution penetrations. K. Coordinate with the District provided 3 rd Party Preferred Inspection Group (CCI) and with the local fire department for testing the paint booth. L. The project is to be coordinated and installed under the SC OSF guidelines. Coordinate inspection timing with the 3 rd party inspector.
