SaskEnergy Incorporated intends to contract with FortisBC of Penticton, BC, on the basis that they are the only contractor able to provide Meter Repair and Sealing services that meet SaskEnergy's requirements for this procurement. SaskEnergy requires a contractor to supplement its' internal resources, on an "as required" basis, with the repair, calibration, verification, and sealing of natural gas turbine meters. These meters are used to measure dry, sweet natural gas in various pressure and volume scenarios throughout SaskEnergy's natural gas system, primarily as custody transfer measurement. The expectation is that the contractor will self-perform the services described either entirely or with minimal sub-contractors.
