The work under this contract is for the decommissioning, removal and disposal of a 600 HP Hoffman, multistage centrifugal blower. The OWNER has purchased an APG Neuros NX350 style high efficiency turbo blower. Once existing blower is removed, the contractor is required to install the OWNER supplied blower. The contractor is required supply the coordination, installation, valves, piping, services, and commissioning of the replacement blower and all related appurtenances. The existing blower control system is a flow control based air delivery system that makes flow decisions based on dissolved oxygen signals received by an APG Neuros master control panel (MCP). Commissioning of the new blower includes integrating the OWNER supplied blower into the Master Control system. The MCP is only controlling the existing Neuros blowers; the completed project shall include integration of the APG Neuros blower into the MCP by the manufacturers approved representative. The MCP program integration shall be considered incidental to the contract cost.
